Investors are looking at India as a great investment destination for next 3-5 years, said Nirmal Jain, chairman of IIFL, adding that the country looks attractive despite oil and rupee crisis.

However, he added that “Oil prices can impact our currency, our fiscal deficit as well as our current account deficit”.

Talking about earnings, he said, “It’s a positive trend that we are seeing earnings rebound and people expect this to accelerate and after a lag of one year, next year we should see much stronger revival in private sector capex or private sector investment as well.”
